Law School Dreamer refreshed her understanding of the U.S. Legal Systems by taking a look at notes she took when she first became a paralegal. Arguably Ambitious enjoyed a slow weekend with her family, which featured a large pancake and lemonade. With one acceptance, one waitlist and one answer yet to be given, Just This was quite confused.

2L Law School Ninja was quite annoyed by the phrasing of one of her midterm exam’s questions. 2L Oh Hay finished her trial work and prepared for a marathon. 3L Lisslo only had 46 more days before the end of her time in law school.

Law School Dreamer found a great new app for making sure that surprise parties aren’t ruined by the birthday boy turning up too soon. Arguably Ambitious and her family found themselves stuck in traffic as a result of SXSW, and weren’t pleased.

Austin ’13 Law School Ninja praised the gunner. NCCU ’13 TDOT discussed the opportunity to attend a national conference for judges.

Harvard ’11 Ivy Lea enjoyed her spring break in Alabama, celebrating her grandmother’s 75th birthday, copious drinks and sing-alongs. 3L The Exit was not overly enthusiastic to help out when her school’s career office tried to enlist her to join a panel for accepted students. Minnesota ’11 Jansen sadly dealt with yet another snow storm.

1l Brownbelle celebrated a section mate’s birthday with Mexican food and attended a law school prom. 2L Law School Ninja finished a huge appellate brief and listed four books, not related to law, that were dear to her heart. 2L Oh Hay disseminated very important required reading.

Harvard ’12 Ivy Lea took the MPRE and shared other recent activities that took place since her last post. 3L The Exit encouraged those looking for summer internships to branch out from their schools’ job boards. Minnesota ’11 Jansen knew this was the season for aspiring law students to start reaching out and asking questions, and had a few canned responses at the ready.

Just This celebrated her blog’s one-year anniversary, and looked back on all that has changed and all that she has accomplished during the past twelve months. Law School Dreamer urged college and law school applicants to file for student loans through FAFSA, if they have not done so already.

Austin ’12 Mariel recently learned that she has been named Editor of the Year 2010-2011 for her law journal, and recalled the day when she first learned that she had been invited to join the journal. 2L Oh Hay wrote about how much she had to do – and how she simply didn’t feel like accomplishing anything, choosing to nap or watch t.v. instead. NCCU ’12 TDot blogged from a hotel near William & Mary Law School before attending this year’s ABA Law Student Division Spring meeting for the 4th Circuit.

Harvard ’11 Ivy Lea reiterated her disdain for the winter months, but managed to write a few papers (adding to her “obscenely high paper-writing page count this semester”) despite feeling unmotivated. 3L Lisslo looked ahead at what’s in store for her during the next six months: graduating from law school, studying for and taking the bar and then “The Wait” – the excruciating time between taking the bar and receiving the results. Chicago ’11 Huma lamented the amount of work she is expected to complete during the upcoming weeks, and realized that she might have to take a “temporary somewhat but not really hiatus” from blogging.

1L Brownbelle found discussing grades with her classmates maddening … mainly because of how vague and yet competitive the conversations were. Austin ’12 Mariel listed six of her favorite places, Austin included. NCCU ’12 TDOT gave his readers a few ideas on how to succeed at life. 2L Oh Hay loved lists and compiled a list in honor of her love of lists.

3L Huma had a few thoughts about a website dedicated to images of thin women. 3L The Exit compared law to a ‘baby momma.’ 3L Dennis reported that the snow was melting, but put up a few last photographs of the winter’s accumulation.
