Hello and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly look-see into the world of law school applicants and student bloggers. It was another quiet week in the blawgosphere, though applicants were still focused on schools while students were focused more on activities outside of the classroom.

Law School Dreamer attended an accepted students event and met some of her future classmates. Arguably Ambitious struggled with flaw questions. 1L Brownbelle announced her engagement! Austin ’12 Mariel rewrote lyrics to a song so that they were about final exams. 2L Oh Hay prepared to run a marathon, after which she intended to drink champagne. 3L Jansen participated in a work-sponsored community service outing.

And that’s a wrap for this week’s Fridays From the Frontline. If you’re a current law applicant or student, and would like to be included in Fridays From the Frontline, just email bob [at] clearadmit [dot] com. Until next week, have a great weekend!

Hello and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly look into the lives of law school applicant and student bloggers. This was quite a quiet week, with few students checking in.

Law School Dreamer refreshed her understanding of the U.S. Legal Systems by taking a look at notes she took when she first became a paralegal. Arguably Ambitious enjoyed a slow weekend with her family, which featured a large pancake and lemonade. With one acceptance, one waitlist and one answer yet to be given, Just This was quite confused.

2L Law School Ninja was quite annoyed by the phrasing of one of her midterm exam’s questions. 2L Oh Hay finished her trial work and prepared for a marathon. 3L Lisslo only had 46 more days before the end of her time in law school.

And that’s all they wrote this week. Until next week, have a great weekend! And if you’re a current student or applicant and would like your blog to be included in Fridays From the Frontline, just email ‘bob’ [at] clearadmit [dot] com.

Welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly round up of the latest news in the blawgosphere. It was another quiet week for applicants and students alike, but a few students and applicants managed to chime in with their latest exploits.

Law School Dreamer found a great new app for making sure that surprise parties aren’t ruined by the birthday boy turning up too soon. Arguably Ambitious and her family found themselves stuck in traffic as a result of SXSW, and weren’t pleased.

Austin ’13 Law School Ninja praised the gunner. NCCU ’13 TDOT discussed the opportunity to attend a national conference for judges.

Harvard ’11 Ivy Lea enjoyed her spring break in Alabama, celebrating her grandmother’s 75th birthday, copious drinks and sing-alongs. 3L The Exit was not overly enthusiastic to help out when her school’s career office tried to enlist her to join a panel for accepted students. Minnesota ’11 Jansen sadly dealt with yet another snow storm.

And that concludes this edition of Fridays From the Frontline. Until next week, have a great weekend!

Hello, and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s ongoing search for the latest legal news from applicant and student bloggers. This week was pretty quiet, though at least one applicant was now certain of where she would be in a few months!

Law School Dreamer made it official by paying the deposit for her seat for next year’s class! Arguably Ambitious found herself having a LSAT logic dream and declared herself a dork.

1L Brownbelle made flashcards during her spring break. 2L Mariel gave her readers a sense of her movie tastes by listing her top favorite films. 2L Law School Ninja also shared a few of her favorite movies. 2L TDOT apologized to any and all individuals to whom he didn’t give his full attention because of his Blackberry.

3L Oh Hay discontinued her Monday music posts in favor of concentrating on the two upcoming criminal trials she would be a part of. 3L Jansen encountered a particularly filthy stove.

And that wraps up this week’s round up. If you are a current student or applicant and would like to be included in our weekly round ups, just email us at bob [at] clearadmit [dot] com.

Hello and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly look into the lives of law school student and applicant bloggers. This week applicants were focused mainly on LSAT prep and financial aid, while students socialized and provided job search advice.

Law School Dreamer imparted some wisdom on the subject of the FAFSA to her readers, whether law or undergraduate students. Arguably Ambitious shared her secret for productive LSAT studying: IPA and truffles. Sue wrote about her childhood love of Hello Kitty, which was recently rekindled after a package full of Kitty paraphernalia arrived at her door from Hong Kong.

1l Brownbelle celebrated a section mate’s birthday with Mexican food and attended a law school prom. 2L Law School Ninja finished a huge appellate brief and listed four books, not related to law, that were dear to her heart. 2L Oh Hay disseminated very important required reading.

Harvard ’12 Ivy Lea took the MPRE and shared other recent activities that took place since her last post. 3L The Exit encouraged those looking for summer internships to branch out from their schools’ job boards. Minnesota ’11 Jansen knew this was the season for aspiring law students to start reaching out and asking questions, and had a few canned responses at the ready.

And that’s the news for this week. If you are a current applicant or student and would like to be included in our weekly round ups, just email us at ‘bob’ [at] clearadmit [dot] com. Until next week, have a great weekend!

Hello there, and welcome to this week’s edition of Fridays from the Frontline, our weekly foray into the hearts and minds of law school blawgers. Per usual, the blawgers who have posted updated during the past week have covered a variety of topics, from the winter blues to bar exam.

Just This celebrated her blog’s one-year anniversary, and looked back on all that has changed and all that she has accomplished during the past twelve months. Law School Dreamer urged college and law school applicants to file for student loans through FAFSA, if they have not done so already.

Austin ’12 Mariel recently learned that she has been named Editor of the Year 2010-2011 for her law journal, and recalled the day when she first learned that she had been invited to join the journal. 2L Oh Hay wrote about how much she had to do – and how she simply didn’t feel like accomplishing anything, choosing to nap or watch t.v. instead. NCCU ’12 TDot blogged from a hotel near William & Mary Law School before attending this year’s ABA Law Student Division Spring meeting for the 4th Circuit.

Harvard ’11 Ivy Lea reiterated her disdain for the winter months, but managed to write a few papers (adding to her “obscenely high paper-writing page count this semester”) despite feeling unmotivated. 3L Lisslo looked ahead at what’s in store for her during the next six months: graduating from law school, studying for and taking the bar and then “The Wait” – the excruciating time between taking the bar and receiving the results. Chicago ’11 Huma lamented the amount of work she is expected to complete during the upcoming weeks, and realized that she might have to take a “temporary somewhat but not really hiatus” from blogging.

And so concludes another week’s edition of Fridays from the Frontline. If you’re a current student or applicant blogger, let us know by emailing us at bob [at] clearadmit [dot] com. Until next week, have a great weekend!

Hello and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly look into the world of law school applicants and current students. This week applicants were learning new things about law school while current students covered a host of topics.

0L Law School Dreamer watched the movie Paper Chase and found the ending horror-inducing. 0L Vodka Sours continued to be entirely unsure about whether she wanted to pursue law school.

1L Brownbelle found discussing grades with her classmates maddening … mainly because of how vague and yet competitive the conversations were. Austin ’12 Mariel listed six of her favorite places, Austin included. NCCU ’12 TDOT gave his readers a few ideas on how to succeed at life. 2L Oh Hay loved lists and compiled a list in honor of her love of lists.

3L Huma had a few thoughts about a website dedicated to images of thin women. 3L The Exit compared law to a ‘baby momma.’ 3L Dennis reported that the snow was melting, but put up a few last photographs of the winter’s accumulation.

0L Law School Dreamer featured a guest blogger who wrote about how she should decide between her two school choices and their respective financial packages. 0L Just This considered some of the differences between learning Hebrew and learning Spanish. 0L Vodka Sours resuscitated her blog in order to further explore why she may or may not actually want to be a lawyer.

1L Brownbelle hit her studying stride and prepared for her first on campus interview. NYU ’13 Michah shared the four stages of understanding he is in the process of going through when it comes to a particularly difficult professor.

Austin ’12 Mariel found a reason to hate Jack McCoy from Law & Order. 2L Law School Ninja shared her favorite five foods with her readers. 2L TDOT struggled to engage with any of his classes this semester. 2L Oh Hay let her readers into a few of her fears, which included railings and a specific nail in her bedroom.

3L Ivy Lea completed one response paper just to realize she still had 84 more pages and a host of other responsibilities in front of her. 3L Huma commented on a less than considerate or sensitive tweet by Kenneth Cole. Minnesota ’11 Jansen enjoyed his elective course focused on Weimar Cinema, though Nosferatu promised him nightmares.

Harvard ’11 Ivy Lea chimed in after an absence and commented on everything from the recent snow to the bar application blues. Chicago ’11 Huma shared nine things she loved with her readers. 3L Lisslo summarized her winter break in numbers. 3L The Exit came to terms with the fact that she didn’t really want to be a lawyer. With an accepted job offer in his pocket Minnesota ’11 Jansen considered what current activities he can continue with, and which may have to go by the wayside.

Welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly roundup of the ‘blawgosphere.’ This week applicants were reporting their acceptance news while current students covered topics including running and honesty.

Law School Dreamer applied the five stages of grief to her law school application process. Just This received an acceptance letter and an $8,000 scholarship to boot.

1L Brownbelle shared two of her favorite quotes from recent classes. 2L Molly checked in and compared her study habits to those of a friend … and the grades they received as a result. Austin ’12 Mariel was committed to staying sane no matter how many 16-hour days she had to get through, and thanked her readers for stopping by. 2L TDOT found that sometimes honesty about the reason for missing a class doesn’t lead to congratulations. 2L Oh Hay wrote about running, both its pros and its cons.

Marshall ’11 Huma focused on hair cuts and friends in one of her recent posts. Minnesota ’11 Jansen spent a cold day on campus but managed to avoid frostbite.

And that’s a wrap for this installment of Fridays From the Frontline! If you’re a current law student or law school applicant and would like to be included in our weekly posts, just email bob [at] clearadmit [dot] com and let us know! Until next week, have a great weekend!
